Working with Asha was of course an incredible experience for me, as someone who holds space for others. But I didn’t only receive support and guidance for my business, for my medicine, and my identity. Asha was the catalyst in demonstrating what true reciprocity looks like, and what being supported in community was always designed to be. So many of the coaches online package their support in beautiful wrapping, but the relationship is not really reciprocal–it doesn’t go both ways. While supporting me, Asha paid for and received a somatic session from me, and she was so open to receiving. It didn’t feel like a pity purchase, because I was struggling financially at the time. It didn’t feel like I was being taught a lesson. It felt like another beautiful soul entrusted me with the whole experience. This is something that I experience often, with many of my clients, and I tell them so. I’ve believed for a long time that we are just human, and need to BE human with one another. Asha embodied what that is like to live it out, and I have been so grateful to see that there is another way–a way that my soul has always known was more in alignment. And I don’t have to compromise my values, my integrity, or skill and experience. It all gets to live in the medicine that is being with me, being held by me, being supported by me.
